American Association of Affirmative Action (AAAA)
The American Association for Affirmative Action is the association of professionals managing affirmative action, equal opportunity, diversity and other human resource programs. Founded in 1974, the American Association for Affirmation Action (AAAA) is a national not-for-profit association of professionals working in the areas of affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity.
Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs
The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) is part of the US Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration. It has a national network of six Regional Offices, each with District and area offices in major metropolitan centers. The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs enforces several affirmative action laws and regulations.
Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is an independent federal agency originally created by Congress in 1964 to enforce Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. EEOC provides a range of informational materials and assistance to individuals and entities with rights and responsibilities under EEOC-enforced laws.
National Industry Liaison Group
The National Industry Liaison Group was formed voluntarily to create a unique partnership of public and private sector cooperation to deal proactively with important social issues and reaching mutual goals. ILGs are models of cooperation which are wide-reaching.
ADA Disability and Business Technical Centers
The ADA Technical Assistance Program has been in existence since 1992, shortly after the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Since its inception, the Program has consisted of a diverse array of projects to further the understanding and implementation of the Act. The program has created a vast infrastructure of resources, including numerous ADA publications and videos, materials targeted to specific audiences, training packages and unparalleled knowledge of the ADA.
Department of Veterans Affairs
The Department of Veterans Affairs Web Site is a worldwide resource that provides information on VA programs, veterans benefits, VA facilities worldwide, and VA medication automation software. The site serves several major constituencies, including the veteran and his or her dependents, Veterans Service Organizations, the military, the general public and VA employees around the world.
The U.S. Department of Justice's ADA Information Line
The Department of Justice offers technical assistance on the ADA Standards for Accessible Design and other ADA provisions applying to businesses, non-profit service agencies and state and local governation programs; also provides information on how to file ADA complaints.
